San Cristobal stands out for its green landscape covered by fog and for its magnificent colonial constructions of Baroque, Plateresque and Neoclassical style, such as the Cathedral of San Cristobal, begun in 1528; the Temple of San Nicolás, one of the first in the city, which at first was of only use for the natives; and the Temple and Ex Convent of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, of the most beautiful buildings in the city. Among its cobbled streets you will hear locals speak indigenous languages, you can buy magnificent handicrafts and taste delicious typical dishes.
